Gorgeous triangular gift box with a vellum sleeve!

Good evening everybody,

I didn´t plan to post a project tonight but then i came across a couple of pictures on Instagram from various fellow crafters, that have worked a gift bag like this one, and i was tempted to try it out for myself, too.

So i decided to go for plain white card stock for the box and heat embossed a sheet of vellum with a flourish design in white glitter to create the sleeve from that.

I wrapped an organza ribbon in white around the vellum sleeve and tied it to a pretty bow, allowing the sleeve to easily slide off the box.

For the decoration i die cut my favourite flower from the vellum, too and used glue dots to
glue it in place, and my gift box was finished already.

Of course one could still create a matching card in a tiny envelope to go inside the box together with the gift, but i didn´t  create one tonight.
Below you can find the list of products as well as the measurements for the card stock used to create this project.

Thanks for dropping by and have a nice evening everybody

Card stock measurements
6" x 11 3/4"
score the long side at 1 3/4", 5 1/2", 7 1/4 ", 11"
notch at 7/8" and 6 3/8"

turn card stock to the right, short side up and score at 1 3/4"

Now use a ruler and score the triangles from the notching marks down to the score line of the short sisde to create the folds.

Vellum sleeve measurement is 11 1/4 " x 3 3/4 " and you fold the sleeve around the box by pinching the vellum at the corners of the box, then fold it and make the sleeve fit flush around the box .
