Hi everybody,
today i worked on two commissions, one was a birthday card for a lady who loves flowers and who will turn 90 next month.
I combined golden mirror card stock with colourful foamiran flowers and chose a 6" x 6" card base as the format for the card.
Once the card was finished, i felt the need to create a matching box for it so i created the box and decorated it with the same DSP and card stock as the card to match it up.
I love the outcome and hope the card exceeds expectations from my client.
The card is rich in die cut elements, features a doily and the sentiment is from the better together stamp set.
I used the painted autumn DSP and teamed it up with berry burst card stock as well as the kraft card stock for the box.
The foamiran flowers i made the other day and they came in handy for this project... an organza ribbon holds the box shut and i added die cut golden mirror scribbles from the swirly scribbles die set to add some interesting eye catching accents.
Of course a golden 90 die cut from mirror card stock is compulsory on a card like this!
