Lovely Wedding Card with Foamiran Flower

Good afternoon dear friends,

after indulging in box making for a while, i thought a nice card might be a good idea for a change... so i quickly created this pretty wedding card, using the new fresh florals DSP in blushing bride and  card stock in flirty flamingo.

I also made a matching foamiran flower using the big flower medallion punch and i think it looks fab together!

So here is what you need to make this card:

Cut a piece of flirty flamingo card stock to 11 x 4 1/4"
Now, place it in your paper trimmer with the short side at the top and find the 1" mark on the left side.
Place the card stock precisely on the 1" mark, then find the 2,5 cm mark on the vertical cutter scale.Start cutting from the 2.5 cm mark down to the 16.5 cm mark.
Now change the card stock over to the 1" mark on the right side and repeat to cut down startting from the 2.5 cm mark all the way down to the 16.5 cm mark on the vertical scale.

Put your paper trimmer away and get your score board out.
Place the card stock with the long 11" side up on your score board, with the cuts you just made being on the left side.
Now score down only to your first cut  at the 1"  and 2 1/2" mark and stop here.
Score at the 5 1/2" mark only INSIDE your cuts.
Now repeat the same on the opposing side of your card stock.
It`s done easiest by just skipping the cut middle section and then carry on at the 1"and 2 1/2" mark.

Lastly, score all the way down at your 6 1/2" mark.

Fold the card in half at the 6 1/2 " mark.
To pop up your middle panel, create valley and mountain folds to the other score lines and  pop your middle panel up.

To decorate the card as seen here, cut white card stock panels as follows:

2 x 4 1/4" x 3/4" for the smaller sides
1x 4" x 3/4" for the bottom
1 x 4 1/4" x 2" for the middle panel

Now cut DSP to the following sizes and layer to your white card stock:

2 x 4" x 1/2"
1 x 3 3/4" x 1/2"
1 x 4" x 1 3/4"

Now, use the two middle sizes of the stitched framelits oval dies to die cut the two ovals, stamp your sentiment in blushing bride and layer with dimensionals and adhere to your card front.
Take your foamiran flower and adhere to card front as seen.

For the insert of your card, cut a piece of white card stock to 4" x 4 1/4", punch 2 opposing decorative corners with the curvy corner trio punch and adhere the panel to the inside of your card as seen.

Congratulations, your card is complete!
For a matching envelope, cut  a piece of DSP to 8 1/8" x 8 1/8" and punch and score as 3 3/4" on your envelope punch board. Follow the usual procedure and align the score line with the nozzle and punch and score all 4 sides , the assemble your envelope .

Here´s a short video of this card, too

I hope you give this card a try. Let me know how you got on and thanks for dropping by!

Bye for now
