Good afternoon dear friends,
today i am coming up with something totally different from my usual work but i needed to distract myself from a really sad thing that has happened in my life and so i created this beautiful collage on a piece of acetate which i call " a hint of roses".
Apparently it´s much more than just a hint, most likely more of a bunch than a hint.. but that´s just the way i craft!
So i used loads of stampin up stuff in this collage in a very different way from what we all normally see..
e.g. i sprayed my DSP with home made alcohol inks that contain not only colour pigments but also shimmering effects , glitter and colour changing pigments.
These are my home made sprays! Love the results and can only recommend making your own ones, too. Very cheap in comparison to ready made ones and effects are even better.
I used pigments from the nail industry. You can buy those pigments for a few pennies and the spray cans came from China. I used surgical spirits and alcohol 99% to make my inks.
The texture paste works great on this kind of background and i cannot wait for the new catalogue items to become available in June!
The stencils create beautiful backgrounds in the blink of an eye and i just love my collage.
