Large Faceted, Elegant Gift Box

Good morning to all my friends,

i was browsing Pinterest the other day and came across a template for this kind of box, i think the inventor of this is a certain kira lemoncoin, at least it was her pin on Pinterest that showed how to make these.
I took one piece of card stock very vanilla and one piece of the affectionately yours DSP and trimmed them both to 7 1/2"  x  7 1/2".
I then followed the instructions on the envelope punch board and punched and scored both pieces ,starting at the 3 3/4" mark.
I then scored it on my score board on all 4 sides at 3/4", creating the flaps that would allow to adhere the two pieces together later on.
Now i cut off the little squares that occurred from scoring on all 4 corners of my pieces.
After this it was just a bit of folding and burnishing, and then i started gluing my box together, leaving 2 flaps unglued so i could still put something in my box!
I tied it together with some colour matching organza ribbon and quickly punched out two tags with the label tag punch and tied it to my ribbon, too.

This is a very quick and easy to make box, and depending on the size of your card stock and /or paper, you can go for any size you like. Just refer to the possibilities of your envelope punch board to select the size you want!

I think this idea is great and i will probably make a lot of these for Christmas as they are such a nice gift wrap for lingerie, or scarfs, or any other smaller pieces of clothing.

I hope you like my box and thanks for dropping by, have a nice weekend and see you later!
