i want to show you my friends forever rosette wand which i made today.
It is made from the Eastern Palace DSP and i made it really sturdy by choosing a 7/8" score pattern so the valleys are really deep and thus the rosette really sturdy.
I created loads of different flowers from foamiran, using various punches and die sets from stampin up to embellish my rosette.
Te rosette itself has fussy cut borders on the larger one and the smaller one thats layered on top has been cut with a border puch.
The main rosette is rather large and made from 3 strips of 4" wide DSP. With the score pattern being so large ypu will need all 3 strips you can cut from a 12 x 12 piece of DSP!
I stamped my sentiment and punched it out with a label punch and layered that together with a chipboard bird and a die cut piece of lace over a brown oval shape i die cut, too.
The center piece on both sides are strass elements which i bought very cheaply on ebay, they are from China and were mounted on cheap hair pins which i removed.
The whole creation is very colourful, opulent and rich in colour and detail, and maybe not everyone likes it like that... however, i like it so i made it!
