Drop Side Gift Box Variations & Tutorial

 Good evening folks,

as promised, i made a video tutorial for these petty boxes and i even created 2 variations of them.
The box is perfect for one of those mini wine bottles , or perfume, large tubes of hand cream or shower gel etc etc.
You can create a matching card to team your box up with to make an impression!
I currently am totally crazy for the foil frenzy DSP, but the Eastern Palace DSP  also holds a few sheets of foiled paper, and i just cannot get enough of it.

I have made 2 variations for the box, one of it with an acetate insert to see through, and  i think that looks stunning , too!
I even managed to save the box i messed up during the tutorial, and  turned it into another version with a acetate insert, making it look very interesting.

The measurements for the  box are as follows:

1 x 7 7/8" x 11 5/8"
score the long side at 1", 3 1/8" and 10 5/8"
score the short side at 3/4", 2 7/8", 5" and 7 1/8"

1 x 8" x 11 5/8" ( this is the bigger piece )
score the long side at 1", 3 1/8" and 10 5/8"
score on the short side at  3/4", 2 7/8", 5 1/8" and 7 1/4"

1 x 4 3/4" x 4 3/4" for the tray
score at 5/8" and 1 3/8" on all 4 sides

1 x 1 1/2" x 10 " for the belly band
1 x 1" x 10" of DSP for the belly band

1 x 2 1/8" x 2 1/8" for the bottom of the tray

1x 7" x 8 1/4" from acetate for the insert of the open box
score 4 x every 1 15/16" , glue together at the flap

I am still uploading the video tutorial for this box but i will add the link here as soon as it becomes available at Youtube!
