Good morning folks,
as some of you might have seen on my Youtube channel, i have received a parcel from Norway yesterday, and it was full with crafting goodies, and i picked this peacock die cut piece and the awesome embellishments from my parcel to make this card.
You can see the video here:
The background paper is gift wrapping paper from Clinton cards i bought 2 years ago and always wanted to use it for a peacock card, and today was the day!
It´s full of glitter and has all the opulent colours a peacock would have, too, so i felt it was perfect for this card and i layered it on dapper denim card stock for a perfect colour match!
My card is 5" x 7" and the dapper denim measures 4 3/4" x 6 3/4" and my gift wrap paper measures 4 1/2" x 6 1/2".
I layered my card front on dimensionals to add more interest and some shadows.
The die cut peacock wa one of yesterday´s gift so i have no clue where the die comes from, and the same applies for the sparkly embellishments on the peacock´s tail.
I stamped my sentiment in dapper denim on whisper white card stock and die cut it with the stitched shapes framelits die set from SU, then layered it with dimensionals to the card front.
So this was a really quick make and a beautiful mix of al kinds of brands and product, and i am totally in love with the firework of sparkles, glitter and colours!
I am off now to work on my next more complicated project, an album with a hidden binding for 3 pockets and 2 waterfall displays inside!
This will keep me busy all day and i hope to finish it off today.
In the mean time, have fun with my card here and thanks for dropping by!
