Mini Album with vellum pockets

See the album here!

Good afternoon @all,

whilst i am waiting for my next tutorial to upload, i quickly made this little mini album which i saw in a life crafting session with a German  fellow SU demo, Jennifer Pauli.
I have converted the measurements to inches but the layout is Jennifer´s idea so credits to her.

I have used the brand new marbled background stamp and love the look it creates!
The vellum pockets allow to look at the pictures even when the tags are still in their pockets, another feature i love about this project.

This is a very simple album and suitable for beginners, too.
You will need to cut  extra thick card stock in white to 4 1/8" x 9 1/2"
Score from either end at 4 1/8", fill the gap in the middle ( spine of the album) with evenly distributed scorelines with a distance of 1/8" to create the spine. Do not fold those score lines, just gently round the spine until the album closes.
Cut 2 strips from vellum, measuring 4" x 11 3/4" and score them both at 3 7/8" and 7 3/4".
Now, cut 2 pieces of card stock in bermuda bay measuring 4 1/8" squared, and 2 pieces of white card stock measuring 3 15/16" squared.
Now, cut 2 pieces of organza ribbon, long enough to tie a voluminous bow.
Glue the ribbon to the inside of your album cover using double-sided sticky tape.
Now glue the blue squares to the inside of your album covers, they should fit exactly and cover up your ribbon ends.
Now also add the white panels on top of the blue ones .
Concertina- fold your vellum pieces and join them together to 1 long concertina fold, creating the first pocket in the middle as seen.
I used sticky tape and the 1 3/8" circle punch to create my pockets.
To adhere the vellum strip to the backside of my album, i also used sticky tape and left it open to the top so it created the  second pocket.
The third pocket i created by using sticky tape to glue the end of my vellum strip together to form a pocket, too.
All that was left to do was to cut 3 tags, each measuring 3 1/4", adding ribbon strips to them for easy pull out and  i decorated the album as seen in the video with various decorative labels i punched out or die cut and layered some of them with dimensionals.
I stamped the brand new marbled background stamp on the front panel as well a on the inside decorative label and i think it looks absolutely fabulous!

I hope you like my little make here and have fun creating your own!
