Make a Medaillon Box! Awesome Sale- A-Bration freebies!

Good morning everybody,

i am so glad i can present this beautiful box to you! I made it with my free stamp set i  received during our current Sale-A-Bration promotional event and it layers two beautiful designs to form this Medaillon, and i think it looks gorgeous!
I am totally in love with this stamp set and you can also get it for free, if you place a qualifying order until 31.3.2017.
If you want to lay your hands on this pretty set, please visit my shop , order goods for at least 45 GBP and you qualify for a free item from our Sale-A-Bration range, and i picked this stamp set for free!

I used two pieces of our night of navy dark blue card stock, the whisper white ink pad and the dapper denim ink pad and i die cut the pretty flourish from our so detailed thinlits die set.
The card stock measures 8" x 8" each, and i used the envelope punch board to punch and score the box.
The first piece of card stock gets punched and scored at 2 5/8", then rotate to the next side, punch and score at 3 3/8", then rotate and repeat as before.
After punching and scoring all 4 sides of the first piece of card stock, i bring the card stock back in and line up the pointy nose of the punch with my score line and punch and score there again.Do this on all 4 sides of your card stock, and you will be left with 8 punch marks on the entire card stock.

Repeat the same process with the second piece of card stock, but add 1/8" to the measurements.
So you will punch and score at 2 3/4" and 3 1/2":
Now it´s time to die cut your flourish from a piece of white card stock, and stamp your Medaillon on a piece of the blue card stock. Cut out the Medaillon by and, then cut the side flaps of the box in so you can glue the box together.
Before putting the box together, you need to fold the score lines by hand, don´t use your bone folder yet.
Once you have folded all score lines, fold the triangles inwards on the outer score lines, then fold it again inwards, holding it in place so it reinforces the sidewall of your box and creases at the top.
Now get your bone folder out and only burnish the second fold line to make it crisp. Leaving the upper score line less crisp will allow for a flush and tight fitting of the lid to the box.
Now glue the side flaps in, creating the bottom of the box.
Then glue the sides inwards, adding glue to the creased triangles.
Do this with both pieces of card stock to complete your box.

Now bring your whte die cut flourish to the top of the box , fold the side bits down over the box for a tight fit and glue in place. I added a dark blue ribbon around my box to cover up the white bits that are glued to the sides of the box.
I used dimensionals to glue my Medaillon in place, and wet glue to glue the die cut white butterfly to the lid of the box to give my box some style.
Finishing it off with basic pearls and then filled it with 6 Ferrero Rocher  wrapped up in white silk paper.

Please find the list of items i used for this box below, and don´t forget to get your freebies, as Sale- A-Bration will not lat forever!
Thanks for dropping by and see you soon!
