The Buttershutter free video Tutorial is out now!

Good morning my friends,

after a sheer endless and never ending upload time it took Youtube another few hours to process my video so it´s finally done now and online for you to give this shutter card a try!

This time the shutter closes fully but you will need to get really strong magnets to work through all those layers of card stock!
I ended up using 8mm x 1mm that finally did the job well enough to close this card!

The measurements for the card are as follows:

10" x 7", score at 2 1/2" and 7 1/2" for the card base
3 1/2" x 7" for the middle part

2 x 4 1/8" x 3" for the shutter mechanism score at 3/4"
1 piece of square card stock 2 1/4" to create your triangular template

2 3/4" circle die

Designer paper

4 3/4" x 6 3/4" for the backside
4 x 2 1/4" x 6 3/4" for the small side panels
3 1/4" x 6 3/4" for the middle part

It is important for your shutter mechanism to fit exactly into the two score lines of the middle section of your card when the shutters are closed, with the sore lines of the shutters ideally slighly ( 1/16") smaller than the space to the left and the right of your middle strip for a perfectly working mechanism.

Please make sure you try the perfect fit before you glue the shutters in place!

Have fun creating this card and wow your friend who gets it!
let me know how you got on and thanks for dropping by today.

Pleae subscribe to my channel and my blog  if you haven´t done so yet and you can browse my web shop from the product list posted below to buy all the stash needed for this card.
