Hello folks,
just wanted to show you this card.. made it a few days ago , trying out my new watercolor words stamp set..
Basically, its a standard white card, layered with a green and slightly smaller yellow panel of card stock.
The yellow panel was stamped with the watercolor words stamp set and i used the botanical builder die set again ( i know i am using it on almost all of my projects when it comes to flowers, but i am just so in love with it!!!!) to die cut my flowers from the same card stock.
I added the flowers with glue dots to the front panel and then decided to make a box for the card as the flowers are quite prominent and wouldn´t fit in a flat envelope anyway.
So i quickly created a box from white card stock, and then decided to use the flower shop stamp set to create a decorative panel for the box, avoiding to use the botanical builder stamp set again!
Well, what can s say, i didn´t have colour matching ink pads too, so i had to go with slightly different colours,too.
The outcome is a pretty box that comfortably accommodates my card, but its not a colour matching or design matching box to the card, and i was hesitant to post this picture.
But then i decided to post it, because at the end of the day, its quite a surprise to open the box and find something so different inside, and the surprise factor adds to the charm of the card, doesn´t it?
