Romantic Trinket Box!

Good evening everybody,

i hope you are all doing well. This is my third project i worked on today, and it has turned out so lovely!
It`s a trinket box, made from an empty Pringles Container. I did not mind buying some Pringles and eating them whilst i was working on my box!

I used a handsaw to cut the Pringles container in half and take both ends off, then cut the container in half to create bottom and lid.
I used my favourite DSP, the fresh florals and colour matching laces and paper roses too to embellish my box.
I also created hinges with the label punch from extra thick card stock.
Overall, it was quite a lot of work that went into this as i had to figure out all measurements and how to go ahead, so it was a bit like trial and error if you know what i mean...

The biggest challenge was to get the DSP to stick to the inside of the Pringles container, as this is a layer of aluminium and despite all efforts to clean the residue off, it remained slightly greasy.
I ended up using tape, wet glue and hot glue together to finally make the inside DSP stay put!

The trinket box has turned out lovely and i might be doing a workshop on how to make these in the nearer future, but it really depends on demand so if you would be interested in learning how to make one, drop me a line in the comments, thank you.

I hope you have enjoyed my today`s makes and wish you a nice evening.
Bye for now and thanks for looking
